“I’m in L’OUVA” Italian Egg Toast

Organic Brown Free-Range Egg/Organic Bread will MAKE this recipe.

  1. Mix a little olive oil and veggie oil in a non-stick pan and turn on medium high heat till nice-n-hot.

  2. Pinch the center out of the middle of a slice of organic Italian bread.

  3. Nestle the bread slice and the pinch-o-bread in the hot pan of oil and listen to it sizzle.

  4. Crack an egg in the center and leave it for a minute.

  5. Grind fresh sea salt and black pepper all over the top.

  6. Carefully flip it, and turn the heat down to medium low for a minute.

  7. Poke the yolk with your finger, when it springs back a little, it’s done.

  8. Slip it on a plate, eat it with your hand, dunk it in all the dribbly, gorgeous, bright yellow yolk.

Free range, brown, organic egg. Hot oil. Blend of veggie and olive oils. (Avocado oil tastes great and browns well.) Great friggin salt. (Pink ground Himilayan Sea Salt.) Sliced Organic Bread from Whole Foods Market (wheat is unreal).

Remember when you didn’t eat breakfast in front of your laptop?

Tomorrow is Saturday so get nostalgic for a few of your favorite things!

Da Babies.

I remember when:

  1. I woke up.  I put my feet on the floor. The end.  (Without a cell phone!)

  2. Dinner was full of chaotic chattering, instead of zoned-out screen faces.

  3. I used to bake a cake to unwind.

  4. I daydreamed while I ate.

  5. I chewed my food, it wasn’t in front of Netflix.

  6. Nobody asked me what I wanted for dinner.  Ever.  We ate it all.

  7. I didn’t rush on the weekends.

  8. I didn’t wear a cell phone.  To the bathroom.

  9. My outfits weren’t planned to fit my iPhone.

  10. I listened to my boom box.
