Berlirce’s Post-Workout Detox Drink

Ingredients

  • 2 knobs of fresh turmeric, unpeeled but sliced in half lengthwise
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 16 oz boiling water

Method

Step 1

Place turmeric and lemon juice in jug.

Step 2

Pour boiling water over all.

Step 3

Let set 10 minutes when it should be only slightly warm, which is what you want.

Step 4

Pour into glass right from jug without straining out any essential bits floating around.

Step 5

Excellent anti-inflammatory drink for hydration after a workout or anytime really.
