Powerful Produce Should HOG the Plate.


Da Story:

Somewhere in this topsy-turvy world, we got our ratio of fruits/veg to protein/carbs/fats totally out of whack.

Time to reverse the curse of those gigantic portions of processed carbs, fats, proteins taking over our plates.

It’s not hard to get back on the powerful produce track.

When you are building your next plate, whether it is a snack or a meal, just REVERSE THE CURSE.

Instead of placing 1 cup of yogurt: 1/2 cup of fruit, try REVERSING your ratio of POWERFUL PRODUCE to yogurt.

Try 1 cup fruit: 1/2 cup yogurt instead.

What just happened?

Well, you cut half your fat of your protein, and increased your produce, which HAS protein in it!

You also increased your water consumption, fiber, antioxidant, vitamins, and a whole lotta color fryer cheeks.

As a bonus, you decreased your caloric intake in this instance since berries are so low in calories, but so high in vitamin c!

Produce almost always takes longer to eat that protein, fat or carbs, so you will give your brain a chance to catch up with your tummy that yes, you are full.

Munch, crunch, lunch your way to this very easy and powerful trick of rearranging the ratio of produce…to basically everything else in your diet!

The nice thing about this sneaky little trick is that you can still eat everything you love.

Have that chicken. Just don’t have one the size of a Buick.

Have that cheese, just don’t eat a hunk the size of your fist.

Have that pasta, just don’t eat a mountain of mediocrity.

Always make the produce on your plate the star of the show! The other players on that plate should be complementary.

The next thing you know, you will be feeling more energetic, your skin will be hydrated, your gut will have the nutrients it needs, and your immune system will be thanking you for not having to fight so hard with no weapons of mass production!

When that happens, you will know.

You just reversed the curse.

REVERSE THE CURSE BREAKFAST

  1. LOAD 1 CUP MIXED, SEASONAL BERRIES ON A PLATE

  2. TOP WITH 1/2 CUP YOGURT

  3. SPRINKLE WITH A LITTLE GROUND FLAXSEED & HEMP

  4. BOOM.  YOU REVERSED THE CURSE!
