♥ da story
I wanna be like Luciana when I grow up.
This child has eaten a dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, organic diet since the day she was born.
Impossible! I thought at first. What does she eat?
She eats well. Very well.
Thanks to her parents, Gayle and Nick Bisesi, Luciana’s foods are carefully chosen because the success they have had by modifying their own diets.
I asked Gayle what exact foods she avoids.
“No dairy, wheat, sugar.
Those are the biggest things for me that set me off.
Just because of what we know our triggers are, thats what we are kinda doing with her.”
Luciana is a four year old girl with tons of color in her skin, lots of energy, and a very evenly keeled temperament. She is also wise beyond her years.
Perhaps Luciana’s wisdom comes from her parents’ genetic intelligence, and the same skills that emerge from a person who thinks critically about their choices.
Perhaps Luciana’s pink cheeks run in the family too.
Any way you slice it, Luciana’s Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free “Sunflower Snackwich” is a simple, fast, protein packed, fiber full, organic and GMO-free slurpfest.
I feel wiser already.
