Oh baby! Get those colorful  veggies, turmeric,  nuts or beans in your body to reduce inflammation!

Ahhhh August. It’s time to reap what you have sown in the garden

You may have more produce than you imagined!

If you haven’t planted any seeds or plants this year, never mind.  The grocery stores and markets are also picking produce faster than they can ship it.

Take advantage of all this glorious abundance, and don’t over think your basket.

Pick it, rinse it, chop it, throw it in garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper until it is soft.

I have mixed everything under the sun into that frying pan.  All at once too!

I picked cabbage, carrots, parsley and cilantro and threw them into a hot pan of onions, garlic and olive oil.  I threw in a hand full of walnuts and raisins that had seen better days.  I tossed some curry in, and a little water, and I had a glorious garden stir fry to toss with rice in 15 minutes.

Take your garden goodies that are in abundance in your back yard or corner market, chop ’em up and move ’em out!

No need for a recipe, just a little bravery.

Who knows, maybe you will create the first strawberry-kale-almond-carrot-thyme stir fry ever!
